Born in Toronto, Ontario, Red moved to North Kingstown, Rhode Island with her family when she was a child. Her passion for makeup and storytelling began at a young age and she loved exploring ways to express herself creatively. From writing/telling ghost stories (and even more scary, her terrible jokes), performing in theater and most importantly to her, creating the most epic Halloween looks and costumes she could. Red wanted to do it all.

After earning her B.A. in Television/Film Production and English in Creative Writing while minoring in theater at Hofstra University (and a semester spent abroad at University of Limerick in Ireland), Red continued her tradition of having no sleep by working in edit ops at ABC News in NYC. For 10 years, she worked around the country, from ESPN in Bristol, CT, associate producing for Hasbro in Pawtucket, RI, and working in digital programming for Disney Channel and Disney Junior in Burbank, CA while also freelancing in production as well. But Red wanted to return to her roots - creatively and literally.

While simultaneously exploring her passion for vintage style as a pinup model, Red decided to return to Toronto to further her studies in makeup and special effects application at the College of Makeup Artistry and Design (CMU).  From there, Red continues to pursue her passion for makeup and creativity. Whether it be the beautiful looks of vintage and bridal or the horrific nightmares of special effects and horror and everything in between, Red is up for any challenge to ensure her clients get exactly what they hope for in a makeup look - and more!
